1. The management of the Lochinvar Pet Motel is responsible for:
A) provision of accommodation and equipment which suits the physical and behavioural requirements of animals held.
B) provision of sufficient space for animals to stand, move around freely stretch full and rest.
C) provision of sufficient quantities of food and water to main good health.
D) provision of prompt veterinary or other appropriate treatment in cares of injury or illness.
E) Maintenance of hygiene of the premises and health of the animals held including pest control.
F) Supervision of daily feeding, watering and inspection of the animals help to ensure well-being.
2. The management of Lochinvar Pet Motel has the right in its absolute and free of any liability to the pet owner to:
A) refuse to accept an animal for boarding.
B) Remove fretting, difficult or dangerous dogs or within 5 hours, bitching coming into season notwithstanding the removal time is before the agreed pick up.
C) Have impounded at the cost of the owner any animal that is not picked up as requested or is left after the agreed pick-up time or is otherwise unclaimed and Lochinvar Pet Motel is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever arising out of any action taken pursuant to this clause.
D) treat any animal for fleas, ticks and all worms if detected at the cost of the pet owner.
E) move any animal into a move suitable kennel or suite other than the one booked by the owner if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the animal.
F) dispose of any destroyed, soiled or uncollected bedding, toys or leads.
3. The management of Lochinvar Pet Motel is not responsible for:
A) the death, injury, illness including the contraction of canine cough, harm to or loss of any animal from any cause whatsoever or for any financial loss, claim suit or action.
B) any loss, injury, damage or death caused by your animal to any person, property or animal.
C) the reimbursement of veterinary fees unless an authorised person is present at the time of consultation with the veterinary surgeon. The Vet must be independent and must certify that Lochinvar Pet Motel has been responsible for the condition causing the reimbursement claim.
D) any loss, damage expense, liability suit or claim arising out of the provisions of 2d), 3a), 3b); 6
4. The Pet Owner is responsible to provide Lochinvar Pet Motel the following:
A) Name of the animal
B) Owners name, address and telephone contact in which must be contactable 24hrs per day 7 days per week, message bank is not acceptable.
C) Expected date of collection of their animal
D) A description of the animal including
- Sex
- Breed or type
- Colour
- Age
E) Vaccination status
F) Name and contact telephone number of veterinarian who normally attend to the animal
G) Details of medical, dietary, bathing and grooming requirements.
H) Collar with an identification tag fitted to the dog.
5. The pet owner is responsible to Lochinvar Pet Motel for:
A) treating the animal for fleas, ticks and worms before dropping off the animals.
B) providing a telephone number and two contact names to be contacted at any time, voicemail is not acceptable
C) paying all fees and charges including those payable for special needs pets, holidaying surcharges and the minimum charges at the time of check in of any animal. Special needs pets are those that require special attention relating to the health of the animal including medication, special diets, including owner provided food, deafness, dementia, incontinence, recovery for injury or operation.
6. Veterinary Care
Any pet requiring veterinary treatment will be attended to by a licensed Veterinarian. All veterinary expenses are to be paid by the owner, including travel expenses of $100. We will contact the owner prior to taking your pet to the licenced veterinary.
In the event that Lochinvar Pet Motel is unable to reach me, I authorize the Staff to make any emergency decisions they deem necessary for the wellbeing of my pet. By signing below, I certify that I have read this document and agree to hold Lochinvar Pet Motel harmless for any illness or the death of my pet due to illness incurred during or after the pet boarding. If veterinary treatment is declined by the authorised person, Lochinvar Pet Motel have the right to request the animal is collected immediately by the person responsible.
Lochinvar Pet Motel will seek Veterinary attention for any animal showing the following signs, Severe Diarrhoea, Lameness or having difficulties walking/standing. Bleeding or swelling of any part of the animal, weight loss or lack of appetite, apparent pain, fits of staggering and continual inability to urinate/defecate.
7. Social Media
Clients agree not to post or partake in defamatory activity against Lochinvar Pet Motel via social media or otherwise and acknowledge and defamatory statements or claims posted to social media sites shall be followed up by legal action.
8. Refunds and Deposits
As all food and staffing daily work routine are based upon the duration of this booking, refunds and discounts are not applied during any time of the year including school holidays if/when you collect your pet before your designated check out date.
Refunds/discounts are only applied in the event of a natural disaster.
9. Christmas bookings The management of Lochinvar Pet Motel have an existing customer policy in relation to Christmas bookings and accommodation. To enable us to operate efficiently and cost effectively over the Christmas period we only accommodate cats and dogs that have stayed with us throughout the year.
Our minimum charge is equivalent to the costing of 10 days accommodation (plus public holiday charges)
A deposit of 50% of the total cost of the accommodation is required before the 31st October. Cancellations after 30th November are subject to administrative costs and cancellation fees.

PLEASE NOTE
Boarding fees are calculated on a calendar day basis irrespective of the time of admission or departure (Rates are subject to change on public holidays, $10 surcharges are applied per public holiday.
Please ensure that you have your correct dates booked when checking in your pet/s as you must pay for what is booked on the form.
Vaccinations of C5 for dogs and F3 for cats must be up to date. If your pets vaccinations are not current, they will NOT be accepted for boarding. Vaccinations should be given at least 14 days prior to check-in.
Vet fees remain the responsibility of the owner of the pet.
Dogs that are entire or come onto heat whilst boarding will be charged higher rates. Dogs that do come on heat will be asked to be collected.
We do not accept responsibility for your pets belongings. We can not guarantee its return and we do not under any circumstances, replace it.
